I have purchased this for my youngest daughter for Christmas. I was a little hesitant based on some of the reviews, but I have had no problems as of yet. Even though the updates took a long time (I spent almost three hours downloading and then installing the updates, as well as an additional game), I had absolutely no problems doing so. I really like the fact that there are no game cartridges for my daughter to lose. Everything is installed right on the system, and there is even an SD slot should you need more space. Before packing it up for wrapping, I allowed my daughter to play with it to make sure that it was not too advanced for her. She absolutely LOVED it. I highly recommend this product. It is an even better deal considering the prices have come down $30 since its debut last year.
